Liz is currently a graduate student at Slippery Rock University, working towards a Master of Education in Special Education. Liz graduated from Mercyhurst University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Instead of pursuing teaching at that time, Liz moved on to Boston University, and earned a Master of Science in Arts Administration in 2009. In professional life, Liz has worked in many capacities, job functions, and industries, including non-profit arts and community organizations, higher education, and public K-12 education. 

Liz is currently the Assistant Marching Band Director at Moniteau School District. Liz also sings in a Sweet Adelines Chorus in Wexford, Greater Harmony Chorus, and is President of the Keystone Youth Harmony Association, which puts on an annual barbershop and a capella festival for high schoolers in Western Pennsylvania.
